I purchased a number of this product for our Thanksgiving dinner. We have a large family and quite often the food is a bit cold once it sits on the table and everyone gets around to eating. If you warm the dish up first (as instructed) using hot water the food will stay warm for an extended period of time. The reson for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is not spill proof. If the container is at the right angle the liquids will leak out.
